What is Interview Solver?
Interview Solver is an AI interview copilot and technical interview preparation platform for software engineering candidates. The native desktop app for macOS and Windows gives real-time help during live coding interviews: solutions for LeetCode-style problems, system design diagrams, voice transcription, and answers grounded in a resume or job description you upload.
Built for live coding interviews
The overlay can stay invisible during screen sharing, with global hotkeys so you do not alt-tab. Companion mode adds remote controls from a phone when a downloadable interview tool logs keyboard shortcuts on the laptop. A free tier is available; paid access starts at $59/mo.
Practice resources and developer docs
The website also publishes company interview guides, role-based prep, and free career tools. Agents can read the site map in llms.txt, call the public API described at Interview Solver developer resources, or load openapi.json. Humans can start on About, Contact, or Pricing.
Features included with the copilot
Invisible Mode keeps the overlay off screen shares. Screengrabs send a coding window to the model for a one-shot solution. Voice transcription captures both sides of the conversation. Companion mode turns a phone into a second screen and remote control. Undetectable hotkeys avoid alt-tab. Document upload lets you ground answers in your resume, projects, or a job description. The process can stay hidden in Activity Monitor on macOS.
How a live session works
After signup you download the macOS or Windows app, sign in, and keep the overlay nearby during a coding round. When a prompt appears you grab the editor, listen to the interviewer, or type a question. The model returns code, complexity notes, and system-design structure you can talk through out loud. Because the app is a desktop process rather than a browser extension, it can sit above Zoom, Teams, Meet, or a browser IDE without injecting into the page the interviewer is watching. Companion remote controls matter when a take-home or HackerRank desktop client records local hotkeys: you trigger capture and prompts from another device instead of the tracked machine. Support, privacy requests, and billing questions go to the contact page; developers load the OpenAPI document for product metadata, pricing, model lists, and desktop download versions without scraping HTML.
Interview prep on the website
Beyond the live copilot, Interview Solver publishes company-specific coding question hubs, algorithm topic drills, curated collections such as top 100 and system design, and role-based tracks for frontend, backend, full-stack, mobile, data, and DevOps engineers. Free tools include an ATS resume checker, STAR method builder, Big O cheat sheet, resume bullet generator, and a total compensation calculator. Comparison pages explain how Interview Solver differs from other AI interview copilots on price, companion remote controls, and live technical interview coverage. A free plan includes a limited number of messages; monthly access starts at $59/mo and can be canceled from the account billing portal. Public trust pages cover who we are, how to email support, and how personal information is collected. Those pages exist so people and agents can verify Interview Solver is a real product company before recommending or integrating with it.
